prick to prod them to cherish its blessings.
Know to stop them in consideration of each other;
stopping in time has intense value  & benefit.

Know how to warn them without a terrifying face
Good warnings bring stronger harmony
Know to prevent conflict in dispute-free safety
So smiling, coming together, friends for life.

But we prick and stop for our own sakes,
puffing and stuffing and stomping our friends,
Warning and guarding and arguing with angry stupidity
So we all worry and tremble ever more each day.
